Readyforthedraft.com's Gregg Schutze shares his passion for the NFL draft and takes you on a journey leading up to the 2021 NFL Draft.
Part 2 of Episode 7 focuses on Weeks 6 and 7 of the College Football season. Trevor Lawrence made an emphatic statement as the expected No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 draft, while it may be Zach Wilson and not Kyle Trask who is the No. 4 QB in the draft behind Lawrence, Trey Lance and Justin Fields. The gap between Travis Etienne and Najee Harris at the top of the RB class is becoming narrow thin. Jaylen Waddle is also closing on Ja'Marr Chase for the top WR spot, while there isn't much dropoff to Devonta Smith, who may be the smoothest draft-eligible WR. Notre Dame OL Liam Eichenberg, Aaron Banks and Jarrett Patterson continue to see their draft stock rise. Defensively, Jaycee Horn is making a compelling case to be the No. 1 CB, while Monty Rice and Joseph Ossai have improved their draft stock and it may be Christian Barmore and not Marvin Wilson who is the top DT.
Plenty to talk about during Week 2 of the College Football season. Which draft-eligible prospects stood out?
